Burtons Grill & Bar

Scott Perry

I was raised in Charleston, SC and fell in love with the type of food and memories I wish every kid could have. Picking fresh berries and making whipping cream with your family while juice is running down your face after every bite. Grabbing tomatoes on the way home from a small cart on the side of the road, then turning those tomatoes into the best salads and B.L.T.’s you could ever ask for. It’s the love of simple food and high quality ingredients that really make working at Burtons Grill & Bar feel like home. Our goal has always been the same “Every guest leaves delighted & wanting to return”. Using fresh quality ingredients and building every dish from scratch is exactly how we get there.

Sometimes when you're building a burger you need to step your game up and take it to the max

Sometimes when you're building a burger you need to step your game up and take it to the max

That’s exactly what the brilliant minds at Burtons Grill & Bar did with their Maxx Burger. At a recent visit to their newest location in Charlotte, NC, we ordered up one of these bad boys and asked the chef how it’s made.

This Burger is definitely one that you should taste in person, but if you can’t make it out to one of Burtons many locations, you can easily make it at home.
